Guest blog by Kavan.

When you think of freezers the name Hisense may not be the first that springs to mind, but this manufacturer offers innovative technology, stringent quality improvement process and an outstanding value for money commitment, making Hisense a great choice.

Established in 2012, Hisense UK Ltd is a subsidiary of the Hisense Company Ltd, founded in 1969 so it’s fair to say that they’ve been around for a while and they know their stuff.

Hisense UK is steadily introducing a full range of premium quality electronics and appliances into the British market, at affordable prices. The Hisense range includes refrigerators, freezers, televisions, laundry appliances, tablet computers and mobile phones, with further product launches planned throughout 2017 and beyond. Hisense’s service department work alongside their R&D, engineering, sales and marketing departments ensuring companywide understanding of their customers and how their products are performing.

I got to take a look at the Hisense FV306N4BC1 upright stainless steel-look freezer.

This single door, frost-free freezer comes with a spacious design for all your freezer requirements.

Sizing wise this freezer sits at 174.6cm in height and 59.5cm in width and finally a depth of 65.1cm in depth. And with a reversible door and adjustable front feet, it gives you the extra versatility as to where you want to place it, so it will fit in your kitchen or utility room with ease.

It boasts a net capacity of 235 litres giving you plenty of room to store your weekly shopping. If, like me, you struggle to convert the litre space into what it means in terms of shopping, I was able to fit around 13 bags worth in. I particularly liked the large drawer that was capable of fitting in my large pizza boxes with ease.

It has Hisense’s “Total No Frost” function. This is more advanced then frost free; the innovative total no frost technology circulates cold air evenly throughout the freezer to prevent ice crystals from forming, so there is no need to ever manually defrost your freezer.

Thanks to the even distribution of cold air achieved by Hisense multi airflow system, an optimum temperature is constantly maintained throughout your freezer, reducing odours. Finding a temperature couldn’t be easier with its easy temperature control and led display.

This freezer has an eco-energy mode and an energy consumption of 296 kilowatts per year making it very energy efficient with an A+ energy class. Operating at only 43 decibels of noise in runs on the quieter side, too.

The super-freeze function, allows for a quick and stable freezing of items added to the freezer. This means your food will look good, taste great and stay nutritious for longer.

The child lock adds extra safety when it comes to little hands and also has an open door alarm so no more worrying about accidentally leaving the door open as the freezer will alert you to this.

Another great feature is the power failure safe storage, offering up to 20 hours of safe storage for your frozen goods if you are unfortunate enough to experience a power cut.

A cool (pun intended) and useful addition is the twist ice cube maker. This allows you to freeze a large volume of ice cubes and, with a simple twist, you drop the ice cubes into the icebox below. This ice box is also removable giving you the flexibility to take out and use the space for additional food storage.

So, in short: “Life is better with Hisense!” You can buy this fantastic freezer online, and enjoy swift, free delivery or use our Click & Collect service to collect from a local store in as little as one hour.
