The Dyson DC40i Multi Floor uses Radial Root Cyclone technology to maximise suction power and like all Dyson Cleaners, it doesn't lose suction.

The Dyson cyclones are much more efficient than other cleaners so more dust and dirt is flung into the bin from the airflow. No matter what type of flooring you are trying to clean, the self-adjusting cleaner head automatically changes for hard flooring or carpet, helping the DC40 to pick up dirt others can't. With the Ball technology, moving the cleaner around the house is a piece of cake, steering around obstacles with ease.

When it comes to vacuuming up high, the Dyson DC40i comes with an instant high reach wand, allowing you to reach to the top of the stairs without having to assemble tools. The air that is expelled is cleaner than other cyclone vacuum cleaners. In the box you will find a crevice & brush tool also stair tools. There is also a stubborn dirt brush for those times when you need the stiff bristles for removing mud and dried in dirt.

  • Filter Type
Filters remove dust particles, mites and pollen.
  • Additional Tools

    Combination Tool

  • Power
The higher the wattage/voltage the more powerful the vacuum cleaner motor.
  • Air Watts
Air watts measure the amount of suction created by the cleaner, the higher the air watts the more suction is created. Cylinder cleaners often have higher air watts than uprights due to the different construction, though all uprights and some cylinders have a beater bar and this helps the cleaning performance
  • Dust Capacity
Maximum capacity that the cleaner can hold.
  • Allergy Filtration
HEPA filtration is design to retain the highest levels of allergy-causing particles. This is ideal for people who have concerns about or suffer from Asthma or allergies.
