Hughes Worcester is situated on Elgar Retail Park on Blackpole Road with ample customer parking. We carry a wide range of products and massive back up stock both in store and at several distribution centres around the country.
We have recently completed a total store refit to enhance your shopping experience. The new refit has incorporated a fantastic new layout, a larger TV area with latest 4k technology and new curved screens as well as great display and demo areas.
Our Worcester store has a large customer base and sees regular customers travelling from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Malvern, Hereford, Cheltenhamn, Gloucester and surrounds.

Our range includes the biggest brands in diverse product categories from the latest Smart TV’s to Washing Machines, Cookers to Laptops and IPods. On top of our massive product range we have access to the entire range from all of the major brands in the UK TV and Electrical Appliance market – if you can’t see it we can probably get it! We also deal with local trade and businesses; our Trade Specialist is Keith who has many years’ experience with Hughes fulfilling several supervisory roles. Keith is committed to maintaining the high service levels we are known for in the trade sales environment.

Meet The Team
The friendly team has a mixed age range with a huge range of experience & knowledge. Our great mix of between 12 months to 30 years’ experience means we can give the same level of great advice whether you’re looking for the best domestic appliance for a busy household or the very latest gadgets and technology.
Dave has worked for us for 9 years as a store manager. He has been in the electrical retail industry since the age of 21 + therefore has many years’ experience. He is committed to giving the best customer service he can with his team of staff aiming for the same goal.
Jon joined Hughes Worcester from Comet in 2010 as a sales person, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge in the latest technology e.g. tv, audio, IT. Since then he has quickly progressed within the company, being promoted to sales manager at our Birmingham store within 3 years, and recently transferring back to Worcester to pursue his vision of becoming a branch manager in the future.
Jayne has had many years in the electrical retail sector and has been with us for 12 years. She is full of knowledge in both product and just how to look after her customers. Many of these customers return time after time to be dealt with by Jayne – this is due to her great belief that giving great customer service is the priority above all else.
Eileen is another long serving member of staff. Remembered by many after previous visits, Eileen's customers seek her out, knowing they are to be well looked after. She has great knowledge in all domestic appliances and services available, so if it's a kitchen appliance you need, Eileen's the one for you.
Bryan is the most experienced member of our team! He is full of knowledge, especially on kitchen appliances. He will give you plenty of information on products in this area if needed and will point you in the direction of the product he thinks is right for you. If we don't have an item to suit, Bryan will spend time to source one and order it in especially for you.
A relatively new recruit, James has been with Hughes for about 9 months. Despite no previous sales experience, he is very technically-minded and our TV, audio & IT products were right up his street. One of the younger members of the team, James can talk you through the latest tech.
Our newest & youngest recruit and in his first full time role. Conner is very enthusiastic, and keen to learn and we were impressed by his urgency to find employment. If you come into store and are served by Connor, please be patient during his early days – if he doesn't know the answer be sure he will find it out for you.
Keith looks after our trade area. He has had many years with the company, and has enjoyed several job roles from van driver doing deliveries, to administrator and now looking after our trade accounts. He has built a good rapport with all of his customers through ensuring that products are available when needed and prices are competitive. He deals with large and small accounts alike, and his commitment to his job role has ensured that the number of trade accounts at Worcester store is more than anyone else on the company.
Dave has been at Hughes several years now. He started as a part time warehouse assistant, helping out at weekends. He then became a full time driver/ warehouseman, helping deliver products to our customers ensuring our belief in great customer service was upheld right to the end of the sales process. He has now though taken responsibility and accepted the role of branch administrator, in which he is accountable for the stock files and stock movement. This role is so important to the completion of deliveries on time and the availability of stock in store should you want to collect an item.
Stuart is very experienced + accomplished when it comes to delivering your products. He always goes the extra mile to ensure that all daily deliveries are completed on the day arranged. He is part of a team of three, and he will ensure the greatest of care is taken to protect both product and your home when conducting a delivery or install.
As with Stuart, Richard has also been with Hughes for several years. He takes great pride in his work, and never wants to let anyone down, whether it is colleagues or customer. We receive many letters from customers re our delivery drivers, and Richard's work ethic to do the best job he can possibly do, is one of the reasons we receive so many.
Andy is employed as a driver/warehouseman. He is new in terms of experience in comparison to the other drivers in this team. He has become a valued member of the team, and has fitted well into the job role. He is also committed to ensure all work is completed to the customers satisfaction.
Pauline is our part time sales person- she has been with Hughes for 5 years having worked in retail previously in the clothing sector. If you are looking for a friendly face and want to be well looked after, then ask for Pauline. She makes customers feel at home and takes time to ensure the customer has purchased a product that will perfectly suit their needs.
