100% Fresh Coffee, 100% of the time!

If you own a coffee machine have you ever thought to yourself “Why is it now taking longer and longer to make my favourite coffee?” Get the feeling it just doesn’t quite taste as good as it used to, or is it making noises it never used to?

We’ve seen more and more people with these problems, in some cases people lugging a coffee machine all the way from home to their local store.

We always recommend using a descaler every four weeks or so, depending on how hard your water is, and how often you use your coffee machine. We recently had a lady who brought her coffee machine in, asking for help as it took nearly 15 minutes to make her favourite cup of coffee! I asked her if she had descaled the machine at all and she answered no. After talking through the problem, the lady decided to buy some Appliance Doctor Descaler but rather than just selling the product I decided to run some through, just to make sure it wasn’t another fault first.

When using descaler I’ve always put the machines over a sink before, so I never really seen what comes out first hand when using it, but on this occasion, I placed a jug underneath… to say I was shocked at what came out is an understatement! See the below image(s).

The first jug is the first time I ran the Appliance Doctor descaler through, as you can see the water is of a rather awful green/brown colour… not very appetising.

I decided to do another cycle with the Appliance Doctor descaler in, as the machine had been used for more than 6 months without being descaled. As you can see there’s a dramatic difference in water colour. However. still a green tinge to the results.

The last jug is just of plain water going through the machine to show you how crystal clear the water now runs through the machine.

I can now only imagine how much quicker and quieter the machine now runs, let alone how much nicer the coffee now tastes.

Appliance Doctor Descaler costs just £7.99 and comes in a concentrated formula with easy guidelines to best suit your appliance, and the whole process only took about 15 minutes or so. A great spend to improve the efficiency of your machine and perhaps prolong the life of your appliance.

Oh, and one other thing: Appliance Doctor Descaler isn’t just for coffee machines; it will also descale kettles, steam irons and baby bottle sterilisers – so it’s much more than a one trick pony.
