REVIEW: PowerCube by Allocacoc

Power Cube

Every so often a product comes along that makes me kick myself. Literally.  The Powercube is the latest one.  Like so many brilliant ideas, it’s simple – and it does exactly what you want it to do.  Specifically in this instance it has freed up part of my memory AND suitcase.  You see, I am off on holiday next week and the onerous task of remembering and packing all the electricals, passports, funny money, tickets, lotions and potions, clothes and toys falls to me.  Into the electrical bracket goes the following:-

  • Tablets (for endless Thomas the Tank / Paw Patrol ‘educational’ games during flight delays, transfers and rain-stopped-play days);
  • Camera (keeping it old skool);
  • 2 x Smartphones (for smug updates onto Facebook, Twitter & Instagram);
  • 2 x eBook readers (for sitting on the balcony – post kids bedtime, with a glass in hand);
  • Mosquito plug in (never referred to in smug social media updates, see above!)

Now this has previously entailed endless plugs, USB’s AND a whole host of travel adaptors, plus using every socket in the place to keep everything charged up.  No more, thanks to the Powercube which allows you to charge / power a number of gadgets from one outlet.  I reviewed the Powercube Rewirable Travel plug with 2 USB Ports which charged up everything from one plug socket, without plug heads banging against each other.  You can use the Powercube home or abroad so this is not one of those travel gadgets that’s only going to see the light of day once or twice a year (e.g. inflatable pillows, mozzy plugs, aftersun, money belt etc).  Better still: all that space in the case?  Mine, allllll mine!

This is a product review that has already resulted in more sales – I have ordered two!  One for home and one for His Nibs’ office.  This is a home and away essential!  View the PowerCube here.

The PowerCube range starts from as little as £14.99 and you can order today for free Click and Collect at available stores.
