HEOS uses your home wireless technology and your existing router (so need for any new kit, such as a bridging device). Both the wireless range & the sound quality exceed what you’d expect from Bluetooth and you can use the free HEOS app to easily control every speaker; the app is suitable for iOs, Android and Kindle.
Inside, there are custom dual drivers that include a wide range woofer and one precision dome tweeter, making it the perfect speaker for small to medium sized rooms. The sound production uses acoustic processing algorithms (shouldn’t that be ‘algoRHYTHM’?) that cite their origins in top recording studios.
If you don’t want to stream you can connect your favourite portable device straight to the HEOS 1, thanks to the handy USB port; there’s even a stereo line input for all your analogue audio needs.
The optional GoPack includes a high capacity rechargeable battery, meaning that once you’re out of the bath, you can take this speaker outside, too and enjoy up to 6 hours playback. Also included is a super light silicone plash guard to seal the external jacks (ideal for barbeques in a light summer drizzle!)
