I might be alone in thinking this and it’s mildly controversial but… December birthdays are RUBBISH. As the owner of a December birthday, I am genuinely envious of those with birthdays in January through to November. The problems with a December birthday are three-fold:-
- Everyone’s fully committed to Christmas; both in terms of finance and also mindset. All focus is on Christmas and other events pale into insignificance.
- “This is a combined birthday and Christmas present.” WHAT?
- Having to go eleven and a half months without presents. I know that sounds awfully privileged, sorry.
Every so often, however, I get to trial a new product before it hits the shelves and these I class as unofficial mini-birthdays as – generally – I don’t know what’s going to be in the box. So imagine my glee when I was told that we’re stocking a range of new products from a new-to-us manufacturer and was asked if I could review three of their products. THREE! It was like all my birthdays had come at once I should point out, in the interest of fairness, that I don’t get to keep these products so my mini-birthdays are rather short-lived, but my reviews unbiased.
So join me as I trial three new products from Euro-Pro; two from their Shark range of floor cleaners and their Nutri Ninja and join in with a moving rendition of Happy Birthday… It’s only 304 days!
