The TV posing as a Home

Samsung finished 2013 by putting a 110 inch TV on sale; bringing a literal sense to home cinema.  The monster TV has gone on sale with prices starting from £92,000.   Ninety-two grand!  For that you can buy a terraced house.  An actual house.  Needs some work, granted, but it’s a house for a little less than a TV.

The LCD TV has four times the resolution of a standard high def TV screen.  So, the resolution combined with the vast size of the screen will ensure that any flaws even on the most beautiful models will be clearly evident.  As a Mum of two small people who need, it seems, 4 hours less sleep than I do, the idea fills we with glee!

Samsung first flaunted this TV at last year’s Consumer Electronics Show and stated that they would release it for sale in 2013.  Seems like they love the whooshing sound of a deadline as much as I do as they launched it on New Year’s eve!  If you fancy your TV’s a little smaller but still with great definition and a host of features then we have some great TV offers in our January sale.

This new year both His Nibs and I were afflicted with an entirely non-exotic bout of sinusitis which meant we fielded the myriad Facebook, Twitter & text messages from a horizontal position on the sofa.  We managed a glass of champagne each and didn’t make it to midnight.  That’s how we roll now.  And so to resolutions.  Me, I resolve to not buy the world’s biggest TV.
