We’ve teamed up with our friends at Miele to bring one lucky winner a Miele Blizzard CX1 Cat and Dog cylinder vacuum cleaner. This is one of Miele’s range of vacuum cleaners that has been designed specifically with pet owners in mind so we set one of our pet-owning reviewers the task of putting it through its paces. If, like me, you are a pet owner, then I know you will share my thoughts: you love your furry friend/s but you almost certainly are not a fan of all the extra cleaning you have to do to keep animal hair and dander at bay. Good news, however, comes in the form of the Miele Blizzard CX1 Cat & Dog vacuum cleaner, which I have been putting through its paces, with the “assistance” of our two Labradors and fur-ball cat. The Miele Blizzard CX1 soon showed pet hair who’s the boss! It’s clear that Miele have designed this cleaner with pet owners like us in mind, from the on-board tools to the filters, and I was delighted that it made such light work of animal hair, dust and dirt, as well as eliminating doggy common odours in our house.
This Miele
vacuum cleaner uses their vortex technology to produce 890W of power to keep
your floors clean. The tight seal of this
Miele vacuum cleaner has been designed to deal with a multitude of floorings, and
combines with airflow exceeding 100km/h to ensure perfect capture of both
coarse soiling and fine dust, delivering unbelievable suction through the floor
head. What this means, is that you get perfect
cleaning results – even if you’re using the lowest power setting on loose floor
coverings, like rugs, or even on curtains and drapes.
It’s not just your floors that will be cleaner, either, thanks to Miele’s HEPA
AirClean lifetime filter. The three-stage
filtration process ensures that you breathe easier; safe in the knowledge that
more than 99.9% of fine dust is filtered.
The three stage filtration system brings new standards for hygiene and
music to the ears for those who suffer from common household allergies.
This Miele vacuum cleaner also comes equipped with enough accessories to negate
having to cart loads of equipment around.
In fact, the Blizzard CX1 is the first bagless vacuum to come with the
accessories integrated into the machine itself.
You’ll find an upholstery nozzle and crevice nozzle secured at the back
of the machine, and a dusting brush is conveniently integrated into the
EcoComfort handle. Stored on the machine
itself, there are three incredibly useful attachments: an upholstery nozzle, a crevice
nozzle and a dusting brush.
You won’t need to endlessly plug & unplug the vacuum cleaner, thanks to the 7.5m cable that gives you a vast operating radius, making it easy to clean large areas of your home in one go. There is also has a telescopic tube allowing you to easily go from long reach to short (or from carpet to cobweb!)
