The TP-Link Deco BE25 triple pack delivers whole-home WiFi 7 coverage through a mesh system capable of combined dual-band speeds of up to 3.6 Gbps. The 5 GHz band provides up to 2882 Mbps while the 2.4 GHz band contributes 688 Mbps, making the system well suited to bandwidth-intensive tasks across multiple connected devices simultaneously. The inclusion of 4K-QAM technology further enhances wireless throughput across the network.
Each Deco BE25 unit is equipped with two 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN ports, offering wired connectivity that is 2.5 times faster than standard Gigabit ports. This makes the system suitable for households requiring high-speed wired connections for devices such as desktop computers, 4K HDTVs, and gaming setups. The dual-port configuration provides flexibility in how devices are connected throughout the home.
The Deco BE25 system supports a combined wireless and wired backhaul, allowing each unit to connect via both methods simultaneously. This approach improves overall throughput and reduces latency across the mesh network. Alongside this, WiFi 7 Multi-Link Operation (MLO) enables the system to send and receive data across different bands and channels at the same time, further increasing reliability and reducing latency throughout the network.
AI-driven roaming technology allows the three-unit system to operate under a single unified network name. The built-in AI-Roaming uses advanced algorithms and self-learning to ensure devices connect to the strongest available signal as users move between rooms, providing uninterrupted connectivity throughout the home.
TP-Link HomeShield is built into the Deco BE25 and provides network protection by scanning for and identifying potential risks before they affect the network. It also includes parental controls and real-time IoT security. A separate WiFi network can be configured specifically for IoT devices, with additional protection provided by HomeShield and WPA3 encryption. The system also supports VPN client and server functionality, including OpenVPN, PPTP, and L2TP/IPSec connections, and can run VPN and standard internet connections simultaneously.
The Deco BE25 is backward compatible with all previous WiFi generations and works with any internet service provider and modem. The system is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control, and is managed through the TP-Link Deco app, which allows setup and network management from any location.
