Grove Street, Redditch
Manager Name: David
Hughes is the name for the former Apollo stores; the same great service, same great prices and the same great staff. Apollo has been part of Hughes since 2009 and has over 40 stores nationwide.
Hughes is part of the Hughes Electrical group, a long established family business with branches across East Anglia and the Midlands. The Hughes Electrical Group is the UK's biggest independent electrical retailer, growing steadily for almost a century to include some very well respected web sites.
The town of Redditch is situated between Birmingham & Bromsgrove just off the M42. In the 19th century it became the international centre for the needle and fishing tackle industry. Today it boasts the well-known Kingfisher shopping centre and great outdoor markets. Located in the idyllic county of Worcestershire, just 15 miles from the bustling city of Birmingham, Redditch is a very short drive to local tourist hot spots such as Cadbury World, Warwick Castle and Drayton Manor.
When you visit our Redditch superstore, David and our team of knowledgeable and friendly staff will offer you guidance and advice on a whole range of electrical products. We are more than happy to demonstrate our in store products to you. The vision, audio and technology areas within the store are all fully operational, so if you want to see how a product works, you can. Most of our stock is 'demo-ready' and our staff can demonstrate each feature of the product, bringing it to life. Our Redditch Store is very well placed for convenience, catering for those that just want to pop in for a quick visit with its free onsite car park for customer use, as well as being at the heart of the town centre for those looking to make a day of it.
Our Redditch store is next to the famous Palace theatre at the end of the High Street. The customer carpark is to the front of the store with easy access and disabled parking too. Our Redditch Store has become a staple in the local community, supporting such charities as Macmillan Cancer Trust and Home Start. Follow us on social media to see our hard work and achievements in raising awareness as well as creating a sense of fun and games with such activities like our charity car wash day.
For everything electrical – from washing machines to kettles, vacuum cleaners to fridge freezers, cookers and televisions – we can help! We are main dealers for all of the best known brands and can access an entire range of products if you cannot find what you are looking for. Hughes has been renting all types of home entertainment and kitchen appliances since they first became popular in the 1950’s and now has more than 100,000 rental products. Our rental proposition remains a very strong component of our business as it creates a huge range at affordable rates, offering such benefits as free delivery and install, free upgrades and free repairs.
