Common questions about TVs up to 40"
What should I look for when buying TVs up to 40"?
Screen size for your room, then the panel. OLED gives the deepest blacks, QLED and mini LED go brighter for a sunny room, and LED is the value option. Check it has enough HDMI sockets.
How do I choose TVs up to 40" for my home?
Measure your viewing distance and the space the TV will sit in. Sitting a little over two metres away suits a 55 inch screen well. Check the stand fits your unit, or the bracket fits your wall.
What features matter most in TVs up to 40"?
The smart platform, because that's what you use every day, and the number of HDMI sockets. If you game, look for a high refresh rate. Check the sound, or plan for a soundbar.
How do I install or set up TVs up to 40"?
You'll need a bracket rated for the weight and fixings suited to your wall. Check what's behind the plasterboard before you drill. If you'd rather not do it yourself, ask us about installation.
What warranty and aftercare comes with TVs up to 40"?
It comes with the manufacturer's warranty, and you can add extended cover at checkout. If something goes wrong, get in touch and we'll talk you through the options rather than leaving you to deal with the maker.
