Terms & conditions

The Hughes and Hotpoint prize draw will run from 22 July 2026 to 4 August 2026 at 11:59pm BST.

The promoter of this prize draw is Hughes TV & Audio Ltd, Warwick Court, Ellough Industrial Estate, Ellough, Beccles, Suffolk, NR34 7FD ("Hughes"), a company registered in England and Wales (Company Registration Number 695682).

Entry into this prize draw constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility

• Entry is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, excluding residents of the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
• Employees of Hughes, Hotpoint, their associated companies, agencies, immediate family members, or anyone professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
• Entrants must enter in their own name.
• Hughes reserves the right to request proof of identity, age and eligibility. Failure to provide suitable proof may result in disqualification.

2. How to enter

To enter, entrants must:

• Like the competition post.
• Follow the Hughes account on the platform on which they enter.
• Tag at least one friend in the comments.

Additional entry information:

• Each tag must be made in a separate comment to count as an additional entry.
• Entries submitted via Facebook and Instagram will be counted as separate entries.
• No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
• Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the draw.

3. The prize

One winner will receive a Hotpoint HPKF 5351 XP4UK Fridge Freezer.

The prize will be supplied by Hotpoint. Subject to availability and service coverage, Hotpoint will also provide:

• Delivery of the appliance.
• Installation of the new appliance (if requested).
• Removal and recycling of the winner's existing appliance (if requested).

Installation and appliance removal are subject to Hotpoint's standard service terms, safety requirements and site suitability.

The prize:

• Is non-transferable.
• Is non-exchangeable.
• Has no cash alternative.

Hughes and Hotpoint reserve the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value should circumstances outside their reasonable control make this necessary.

4. Winner selection & notification

• Following the closing date, one winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received across Facebook and Instagram.
• The winner will be contacted via direct message from the official Hughes Facebook or Instagram account within 72 hours of the competition closing.
• The winner must respond within 14 days of the initial contact and provide any information reasonably required to arrange prize fulfilment.
• Failure to respond within 14 days may result in forfeiture of the prize and the selection of an alternative winner.
• If the winner cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, or fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions, Hughes reserves the right to select another winner at random.

5. Prize fulfilment

The winner's contact details may be shared with Hotpoint and/or its appointed delivery partners solely for the purpose of:

• Verifying eligibility.
• Arranging delivery.
• Installation.
• Removal of an existing appliance.
• Fulfilling the prize.

The winner must provide accurate delivery and contact details.

Delivery, installation and appliance removal services are subject to availability and postcode coverage.

The prize:

• Will be supplied and fulfilled by Hotpoint.
• Is expected to be delivered within 60 days of the competition closing.

Any prize returned due to inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the winner will be considered unwanted and the claim will be invalidated.

Hughes and Hotpoint are not responsible for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including (but not limited to):

• Adverse weather.
• Transportation issues.
• Supplier delays.
• Stock availability.

6. Publicity

The winner may be invited to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the promotion, including the use of their first name and county of residence.

Participation is voluntary and will only take place with the winner's consent.

7. Data protection

Personal data supplied during this promotion will be processed by Hughes in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and the Hughes Privacy Policy:

Personal data will only be used for:

• Administration of the prize draw.
• Prize fulfilment.

Unless the entrant has separately consented, personal data will not be used for marketing communications.

Personal data may be shared with Hotpoint and/or an appointed third-party fulfilment company solely for the purpose of administering and delivering the prize.

8. General

• Hughes reserves the right to verify all entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits fraudulent entries or otherwise breaches these Terms & Conditions.
• Hughes reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
• Hughes' decision regarding all matters relating to the promotion is final and binding.
• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta or any other social media platform.
• By entering this promotion, entrants release Facebook and Instagram from any liability associated with the promotion.
• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
