AEG TO64IA00CB 58cm 4 Zone Induction Hob - Black
- 4 Zone Induction
- PowerBoost
- Hob2Hood
- Pause functionality
The AEG TO64IA00CB is a 58cm built-in induction hob finished in black, featuring four cooking zones and designed for efficient, responsive cooking. The hob measures 580 x 510mm and weighs 10.4kg. The four zones are configured as a 2300/3700W 210mm zone, a 1400/2500W 145mm zone, and two 1800/2800W 180mm zones, providing a range of cooking options to suit different pan sizes and cooking requirements.
The PowerBoost function delivers an instant increase in temperature, allowing water to boil in under 90 seconds. This makes it well suited to tasks that require rapid heating, such as bringing large volumes of water to the boil quickly, without the wait associated with conventional radiant hobs.
Hob2Hood technology allows the hob to communicate directly with a compatible cooker hood, automatically adjusting the fan speed in response to the heat being used. This removes the need to manually control the hood, providing stronger extraction during high-heat cooking and quieter operation when using lower settings.
The Pause functionality allows cooking to be temporarily suspended without losing the current settings. This is useful when a short break is needed during cooking, as all zone settings are retained and can be resumed without the need to re-enter them.
The EcoTimer function contributes to energy efficiency by switching off a cooking zone before the set timer ends, making use of the residual heat remaining in the zone to complete the cooking process. Installation is simplified through the OptiFix system, which reduces the process to a single step using a fully automated custom fitting process.
