Delivery when you need it, on hundreds of appliances.
Ensure yourself or another adult is home for your delivery
Weโre unable to deliver your appliance unless an adult is present. When booking your delivery date please ensure you will be available on this day to take delivery.
Ensure there is clear access to the room you would like us to deliver to
Weโll always deliver to your room of choice, but if there is no safe and clear access our teams will not be able to proceed.
Let us know in advance of any parking issues
Our crews deliver in large vans. If you think there will be any issues for us to park or access the delivery address, such as requiring a permit, please let us know in advance. Our delivery teams arenโt permitted to park on double yellow lines or red routes. If these are outside your property, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly and avoid any delays to your delivery.
Prepare for your booked services
If youโve purchased additional services, such as installation, please make sure the area is ready before we arrive by removing your old appliance. If youโve also booked a disconnection service, we kindly ask that the appliance is free from water beforehand.
Double check your details at checkout
When youโre checking out, weโd recommend double checking your email address and phone number are correct so we can make sure we send you all the information you need. Weโd also recommend making sure you have ordered the right product type, i.e. freestanding or integrated.
The night before your delivery
The night before, weโll send you an email confirming your 2 or 3 hour timeslot. This will be between 7am and 9pm.
If Hughes is delivering your order, weโll send you this the night before along with a tracking link.
If Arrow XL or BJS are delivering your order, theyโll send you an SMS on the delivery day when your order is out for delivery, including your tracking link.
30 minutes before delivery
30 minutes prior to delivery, weโll give you a call to let you know weโre close by.
When we arrive
Upon arrival, our team will deliver your order to a room of your choice, assuming it is both safe and practicable.
If the delivery crew are not satisfied that there is clear access, they will not be able to proceed with the delivery. (Subject to T&Cs).
Fridge and freezer delivery
Double-check the measurements
Double-check the measurements of what youโve ordered and consider how it will be transported from our delivery van to your room of choice.
Leave enough space for ventilation
The recommended gap by the manufacturer varies, but generally we recommend 50mm at the back and 20mm on each side.
Allow enough door opening space
Consider that the doors of American fridge-freezers need to be able to open to at least a 90-degree angle to slide out the freezer drawers.
Let the appliance settle before use
Refrigeration appliances typically need to be left for a minimum of 4 hours before the power can be turned on. This allows the gases to settle, ensuring the appliance runs at its best.
